Jere Osgood's elegant but otherworldly furniture pieces have an animated quality that invigorates the simplicity of their design. With legs branching out off to one side, growing like vines or tentacles from underneath a table top or other surface, the pieces are highly functional in concept and stunningly unique in appearance. His work can be found in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the American Craft Museum, New York, and the Renwick Collection, Smithsonian Institute, Washington, DC.
