40th Anniversary: Artists M – V
February 2 – 24 at Gallery NAGA
The second half of NAGA’s 40th Anniversary exhibition will take place in February, highlighting work by 24 artists and furniture makers. The first part of the exhibition, artists A – K, took place in May of 2017, and in typical NAGA fashion, was wildly diverse. The finale of the show will be no different; you can expect drawing, paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture and even a few mirrors.
The exhibition runs from February 2 – 24. A reception for the artists and the public will be held at the gallery on Friday, February 2 from 6 to 8 pm.
“I think every major anniversary deserves a celebration,” Meg White, director, says. “This feels like a substantial milestone. We’ll use any excuse to show our artists together, under the same roof. It’s like throwing a party to celebrate ourselves, and we’re not above that.”
Speaking of party… stick around after the opening from 8 – 11 pm, and join us for music and comfort food by Roxy’s Grilled Cheese. This after-party is free and open to all. The rumors about last year’s shindig are probably true.

Ten percent of all proceeds will be donated to the Natural Resources Defense Council. Their mission is to help safeguard the air we breathe, the water we drink and the places we treasure. In May, we were able to donate to Meals on Wheels and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Cheers to forty more years!
