A Supportive Platform: New England Represented at Art Week Miami

“Gallery NAGA selected Art Miami to exhibit work from artist Nicole Chesney, Dinorá Justice, Masako Kamiya, Martin Kline, Bryan McFarlane, Judy Kensley McKie and Peri Schwartz. Located on Newbury Street in Boston, Massachusetts, Gallery NAGA has been exhibiting and selling contemporary art since 1977. 

The works brought to Miami by Gallery NAGA created balance of styles that oscillated from Justice’s New England-based artist portraits’ meticulous, colored, densely populated paintings to the abstract soft depictions of light and shadow from Chesney’s oil paintings on acid-etched and mirrored glass. Chesney’s luxuriously sensuous wall pieces evoke the feeling of a complete roller coaster of emotions which, combined with a myriad of stimuli generated by art fair vibes, brings viewers somehow down to earth — so you can regroup and continue the pilgrimage to discover the next booth that speaks to your emotions or your gut.”
