On View Jul 16 2016 – Aug 13 2016
Dorchester Art Project
Body Language refers to the unspoken meaning conferred by gestures, expressions and postures that we instinctively read in each other.Within these works, paintings explore the figure through the sensuous movement of dancers and the fluidity of water, while also exploring the alchemy of personal memory and collective symbols. Installations allow the viewer to occupy both infinite mirrored mindscapes, and embryonic shelters and animation, murals and printed illustrations bring fantasy and dark humor to observations of contemporary culture.
